UQTR offers seasonal health and fitness support for staff
The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) has launched a health initiative to help staff members adjust their lifestyle habits during the seasonal transition to autumn.
Through the University Kinesiology and Sport Therapy Clinic, staff can access personalized support supervised by professionals and involving kinesiology students. For a fee of $25, participants receive three sessions including a physical condition assessment, a customized training program, and motivational follow-ups. This program aims to assist individuals in transitioning from outdoor to indoor activities, starting running programs, or integrating strength training into their routines. The initiative also serves as a practical training opportunity for second-year kinesiology students.
