Urban infrastructure projects advance in Yopougon and Bãngr-Wéoogo

In Yopougon, Côte d'Ivoire, municipal authorities have resumed urban development operations. A follow-up meeting was held in Niangon to oversee the rehabilitation of local road infrastructure, specifically targeting the routes connecting the Académie crossroads to the Social Center and the Maroc district. The project involves technical experts from the National Bureau of Technical Studies and Development (BNETD) and the Building and Public Works Laboratory (LBTP). The initiative includes paving, clearing illegal encroachments on public land, and cleaning road shoulders to improve traffic flow.

In Burkina Faso, the Bãngr-Wéoogo Urban Park remains open to the public despite ongoing rehabilitation works. The Direction des Aménagements Paysagers et de la Gestion des Parcs has announced temporary changes to access points, including the relocation of the Administration entrance and the SOTRACO entrance. Visitors are advised to follow safety signage and instructions to ensure security during the construction period.
