URSEHN distributes 195,000 textbooks for upcoming school year

The Regional Unit of Educational Services Huasteca Norte (URSEHN) has reported significant progress in distributing free textbooks for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. As of August 20, the agency has delivered 195,342 primary education books across sectors XIII, XIV, XX, and XXI.

According to URSEHN head José Isabel Gutiérrez Zúñiga, the distribution for secondary education levels—including general, technical, and telesecundarias—was 100 percent completed prior to the school break. The current focus remains on primary school materials to ensure all students in the Huasteca Norte region have necessary educational resources by the start of the academic term.
