The agency highlighted no active weather warnings but advised close monitoring as the transition could bring rapid changes.

Meanwhile, residents of Corrientes, Argentina, experienced an unusual temperature jump, with early‑week lows near 5 °C rising to daytime highs of about 25 °C. Meteorologists explained the spike as an anomaly unrelated to the traditional “veranillo de San Juan,” which normally occurs around June 24 and produces more sustained warmth.

Both events are linked to broader regional climate patterns, including the influence of El Niño, which continues to affect weather stability across southern South America.
