Uruguay defeats South Korea 4-1 in Seoul friendly

Uruguay secured a 4-1 victory against South Korea in an international friendly held in Seoul, marking the first win for Diego Forlán as the team's interim head coach. The result follows a recent 3-1 loss to Japan during the team's Asian tour.

Darwin Núñez led the scoring with two goals, ending a scoring drought of over two years for the national team. Other goals were provided by Giorgian De Arrascaeta and an own goal by South Korean defender Kim Min-jae. Lee Kang-in scored the lone goal for South Korea.

Despite the victory, Uruguay faced a setback when De Arrascaeta was forced to leave the match in the 77th minute due to a wrist injury. The team is scheduled to continue its tour by facing India in Calcutta.
