US and India startups raise over $127 million in weekly funding rounds

In the United States, venture capital activity for the week ending May 30 included more than $52 billion in new capital across dozens of deals. Notable rounds featured Reactor’s $59 million equity raise, OpenRouter’s $113 million funding, Observable Space’s $90 million injection, Saris AI’s $28.8 million, Gray Swan’s $40 million, Countable Labs’s $26 million, Solstice Health’s $21 million, Anthropic’s $50 million, Thea Energy’s $100 million and Daloopa’s $47 million, reflecting strong backing from firms such as Lightspeed Venture Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital and others.

In India, 15 startups secured roughly $75.35 million in the same period, a 41 % week‑on‑week decline. Growth‑stage funding was led by synthetic‑biology company StrainX Bioworks with $13 million and D2C food brand Anveshan with $12.7 million. Early‑stage investors backed Fairdeal Market ($15 million Series A), AI data provider Human Archive ($8.2 million), Tiea Connectors ($8 million) and Yes Madam ($5.2 million). Delhi‑NCR and Bengaluru each saw five deals, while sectors such as e‑commerce, health‑tech and AI were prominently represented. Corporate travel platform Ziptrrip also completed an acquisition of HelloTravel Online.
