Armenian Constitutional Court to Hear Merged Election Dispute Cases on June 26

Armenia’s Constitutional Court has consolidated multiple petitions challenging the results of the June 7, 2026 parliamentary election. The petitions were filed by the “Strong Armenia” alliance, “Wings of Unity” party, “Democracy, Law, Order” party, “Prosperous Armenia” party, the “Defenders of the Republic’s Democracy” alliance, the “Armenia” alliance and the reformist “New Force” party. Under Article 41 of the Constitutional Court Law, the court combined the cases for a single oral hearing scheduled for June 26, 2026 at 11:00, with Judge Edgar Shatryan presiding. The court must deliver a final ruling within 15 days of the filing date, potentially determining whether the June 7 results will be declared invalid and a re‑run ordered.
