US Beverage Brands Roll Out Summer Promotions with Record Hot Dog Display and National ICEE Day

Smirnoff Ice staged a Guinness World Record attempt on August 1 in Put-in-Bay, Ohio, creating the largest display of hot dogs. Over 250 hot dogs were arranged to form a giant Smirnoff Ice Red, White & Berry bottle, covering more than 1,000 square feet. The event featured WWE star Mike "The Miz" and attracted hundreds of fans.

On August 18, ICEE launched its inaugural National ICEE Day across more than 1,800 locations nationwide, offering a free small ICEE with no purchase required. Participants could also enter a contest for a year’s supply of ICEE by sharing a social‑media story. ICEE’s president and CEO Dan Fachner highlighted the promotion as a new annual tradition to celebrate the brand’s legacy.
