Iran warns of full‑scale offensive as US conducts seventh consecutive night of airstrikes

The United States has carried out a seventh consecutive night of strikes against Iran, targeting military sites such as coastal surveillance, air‑defence installations, logistics hubs and maritime facilities. Iranian state media reported eight civilian deaths and damage to bridges, ports, an airport, telecommunications and a railway station, while urging citizens to reduce electricity use due to damage to the power grid.

Iranian military adviser Mohsen Rezaei told state television that Tehran will move into a “total offensive” phase if the American attacks continue for another two or three days, saying “no border will be safe” and that Iran will no longer limit itself to retaliation. In response, Iran said it has hit U.S. bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, claiming strikes on the Al‑Adiri camp, Ali Al‑Salem airfield and the Al‑Azraq base.

Both sides also cited incidents in the Strait of Hormuz: the Revolutionary Guards said two oil tankers exploded after passing a mined area, while the U.S. denied the claim. The escalating exchange threatens wider regional conflict and affects global oil flow through the strait.
