US Central Command denies US soldier deaths in Kuwait amid renewed strikes on Iran

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) rejected reports that three American soldiers were killed in Kuwait during recent Iranian attacks, stating no U.S. personnel were injured. Kuwait’s defense ministry said three land border posts in the north and a offshore oil platform were hit, causing material damage and one worker injury.

The United Arab Emirates reported its air defenses intercepted missile attacks, and alarms sounded in Bahrain. On the same day, CENTCOM announced a third consecutive night of U.S. strikes against Iranian targets, saying the attacks would inflict “heavy losses” on Iranian forces and reduce their ability to threaten civilians and commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The strikes follow President Donald Trump’s remarks that the United States would hit Iran "with force" in the coming days.
