US Dollar exchange rates rise on July 29 2026 in Mexico and Philippines

On July 29 2026 the US Dollar strengthened against the Mexican peso in Cancun, where the official rate reported by Banco de México was 17.51 pesos per dollar. Average market rates ranged from 16.45 pesos when selling the dollar to 17.99 pesos when buying it. The euro was also quoted at 21.79 pesos for sale and 18.95 pesos for purchase.

The same day the US Dollar traded at 61.52 philippine pesos on the buying side and 61.67 pesos on the selling side, according to Asia United Bank. The higher conversion rate has increased the amount of remittances received by families of overseas Filipino workers, although higher local commodity prices have offset some of the benefit.

Both reports note that exchange rates fluctuate throughout the day and recommend checking real‑time rates before converting money.
