U.S. Fed advances stablecoin rules as private USDT swaps debut on TRON
The Federal Reserve announced that it is close to publishing proposed regulations for payment stablecoins, meeting the deadline set by the GENIUS Act. The draft rules would define reserve standards, issuer oversight, consumer protections and operational requirements, aiming to support faster digital payments while safeguarding financial stability and reinforcing the U.S. dollar’s role in global commerce.
At the same time, Symbiosis Finance launched a decentralized application that enables private USDT swaps and transfers on the TRON network. Using non‑custodial multi‑party computation routing and threshold signature schemes, the service obscures the link between sender and recipient wallets. The development adds a privacy layer to one of the most widely used stablecoins, prompting discussion of both increased usability and potential regulatory scrutiny.
