US House Oversight Committee hears from Epstein’s former assistants
Former personal assistant Sarah Kellen testified before the U.S. House Oversight Committee, saying Ghislaine Maxwell "fed him and catered to every whim" and was instrumental in turning Jeffrey Epstein into a "monster." Kellen described her decade‑long service to Epstein, including trips to Buckingham Palace and a party for Princess Beatrice, and recounted Maxwell’s abusive behavior toward her.
Long‑time assistant Lesley Groff also appeared before the committee. DOJ‑released documents reference Groff more than 160,000 times, far more than any other name linked to Epstein. She managed his diary, travel, meetings and massages from 2001 until his death in 2019, and has previously asserted she knew what Epstein was thinking. Groff maintains she was kept in the dark about his crimes, while investigators focus on the extent of her involvement in his trafficking network.
