US Open tennis tournament to be held at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center

The 146th US Open, the final Grand Slam tournament of the tennis season, is scheduled to take place from August 30 to September 13 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York. The tournament features a 128-player draw for both men and women on outdoor hard courts.

In the women’s division, world number one and defending champion Aryna Sabalenka enters as a major favorite. She faces competition from players including Iga Świątek, Naomi Osaka, Coco Gauff, and Karolina Muchová. Serena Williams is also expected to return to Flushing Meadows for the first time in four years.

The men’s field includes Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, and Carlos Alcaraz, who is working toward a return following a wrist injury. Other notable competitors include Ben Shelton and a rising generation of players such as Joao Fonseca and Arthur Fils.
