US launches seventh consecutive night of strikes on Iran, sparking regional retaliation

The United States Central Command announced a seventh straight night of air strikes against Iran, targeting military logistics sites, bridges, tunnels and a maritime surveillance tower at Shahid Kalantari Port in Chabahar. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard responded with missile and drone attacks on U.S. bases and logistics infrastructure in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan and other Gulf states, claiming to have destroyed Bahrain’s main artificial‑intelligence hub and hit a U.S. drone depot. Iranian state media reported explosions in Sirik, Ahvaz, Yazd and other cities, and said at least 38 people were killed and over 400 injured by the U.S. raids, including damage to several bridges in Hormozgan province. The United States tightened its naval blockade of Iranian ports, redirecting four commercial vessels, disabling one tanker and boarding another to enforce compliance. Both sides warned of further escalation: senior Iranian adviser Mohsen Rezaei said a full‑scale offensive could follow if U.S. attacks continue, while the U.S. signaled possible additional refueling flights to Israel. Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has sharply declined, raising concerns for global oil supplies.
