US Treasury Delists Indian, Turkish Firms from Russia Sanctions
The U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) removed four Indian companies—RRG Engineering Technologies, Lokesh Machines, Galaxy Bearings and Shaurya Aeronautics—from the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list. The firms had been sanctioned under Executive Order 14024 for activities linked to Russia, and their delisting lifts asset freezes and U.S. transaction restrictions.
A separate OFAC action on June 29 delisted eight Turkey‑related entries, including two Turkish nationals, Gurhan Aydin and Recep Cetin Aydin, and six Turkish firms operating in CNC machine tools, hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics trading. These removals also eliminate the sanctions constraints imposed under the same executive order.
Both updates are part of a broader U.S. effort to adjust Russia‑related sanctions, following an earlier wave on June 24 that removed several Russian individuals and vessels.
