In the evening slot, ABC World News Tonight averaged 8.168 million total viewers and 1.078 million adults 25‑54, flat in total viewers and up 3 % in the demo. CBS Evening News reached 4.127 million viewers and 570,000 in the demo, growing 4 % in total viewers and 10 % in the demo, marking its first week above four million viewers since late June. NBC Nightly News recorded 6.62 million viewers and 948,000 in the demo, remaining steady in total viewers but slipping 1 % in the demo. Year‑over‑year, Today was up 15 % in total viewers, while CBS Mornings fell 15 % in total viewers and 31 % in the demo.
