US-Ukraine intelligence sharing resumes at full capacity

Intelligence sharing between the United States and Ukraine has returned to full capacity, according to Senator Mark Warner. This restoration follows a period of tension in February 2025, when the flow of intelligence and weapons to Kyiv was temporarily suspended following a meeting between President Donald Trump and President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The renewed cooperation involves the CIA providing target packages that directly support Ukrainian precision strikes against Russian troop positions and energy infrastructure within Russia. Senator Warner noted that the relationship has improved, citing it as a key factor in Ukraine's ability to utilize long-range drones and missiles effectively.

Simultaneously, President Zelensky is facing diplomatic challenges in Washington. He has tasked Ukrainian ambassadors with a primary mission of securing more military hardware, specifically air defense systems like Patriot and NASAMS, as well as fighter jets and drone components. Zelensky has stated that the effectiveness of diplomatic missions should be measured by the volume of weapons and funding they successfully secure for Ukraine.
