USC unveils Bloom Football Performance Center

The University of Southern California opened the Bloom Football Performance Center, a three‑story, roughly 160,000‑square‑foot facility that doubles the football program’s on‑campus space. The ribbon‑cutting ceremony in August attracted more than 400‑500 donors, alumni, coaches and players, with key contributors including Ronald H. Bloom, the Bloom family, the Argyros Family Foundation and the Bishops. The center features sports‑medicine and recovery areas, advanced training equipment, nutrition stations, immersive visual training zones and a media suite.

Head coach Lincoln Riley praised the building, calling it “magical” and saying it will enable every athlete, coach and staff member to perform at their highest potential. The project, originally sketched on a napkin in 2021, grew into a $225 million capital investment that also added new baseball, soccer and lacrosse facilities. USC President Beong‑Soo Kim highlighted the center as a major vote of confidence in the Trojans’ future.
