USS Abraham Lincoln to visit Thailand after record-breaking deployment
The U.S. aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln is scheduled to make a brief port call in eastern Thailand, specifically at Laem Chabang port, between September 2 and 6. The visit is intended for rest, recovery, and logistical support for approximately 5,000 sailors and Marines following an extended deployment in the Middle East supporting U.S. operations against Iran.
The deployment included a record-setting period of more than 250 consecutive days at sea without a port call.
