USS Abraham Lincoln reaches Guam during 10-month deployment

The USS Abraham Lincoln and Carrier Strike Group 3 arrived at Naval Base Guam for a brief logistics stop, marking the first time personnel have returned to American soil in nine months. The carrier, accompanied by the guided-missile destroyer USS Frank E. Petersen Jr., moored at Apra Harbor to allow the crew on-base liberty and access to base services.

The deployment, which began in San Diego in November 2025, has reached its 10th month. During the mission, the carrier supported combat operations in the Middle East and conducted joint training with the Royal Australian Navy in the South China Sea. Following the stop in Guam, the USS Abraham Lincoln is expected to continue its transit through the Philippine Sea toward its homeport at Naval Air Station North Island.
