College football features high-stakes matchups including Georgia vs. Auburn

A series of major college football matchups are scheduled for this weekend, headlined by No. 1 Georgia hosting Auburn in the SEC. Auburn will be without star linebacker Xavier Atkins for the game, a decision confirmed by head coach Alex Golesh. While Golesh declined to provide specific details regarding Atkins' absence, reports suggest the decision follows disciplinary issues related to team meetings and practice habits.

In Big 12 action, No. 11 Utah travels to face Colorado. The matchup has seen a significant surge in demand, with Colorado Buffaloes ticket prices starting at $158, the highest on their home schedule to date.

Other notable matchups include No. 15 Kentucky visiting Oklahoma in the SEC, and Georgia quarterbacks Gunner Stockton and South Carolina's LaNorris Sellers receiving recognition from the Davey O'Brien Award for their recent performances.
