Laferrere and Utrera report fatal shootings
In Argentina, a 21-year-old undercover officer from the Morón Organized Crime Division shot and killed a 15-year-old, identified as Lautaro Gabriel Herrera, during an attempted robbery in Laferrere. The officer and a friend were intercepted by six individuals on motorcycles who threatened them with firearms. The officer used his service weapon to defend himself, resulting in the death of one teenager and the injury of another 15-year-old. Authorities have detained four other minors in connection with the incident.
In Spain, the Guardia Civil is investigating a fatal shooting in the Barriada del Tinte neighborhood of Utrera, Seville. A 45-year-old local man died after being struck by multiple bullets in the torso. Neighbors reported hearing three gunshots before finding the victim on the street. While the victim was transported to the Utrera High Resolution Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries during evacuation. No arrests have been made yet, and judicial police are investigating all possible motives and perpetrators.
