Uttar Pradesh BJP seats Debai and Bulandshahr see caste-driven voter maps ahead of 2027 election

The Debai (constituency 68) and Bulandshahr (constituency 65) assembly seats in western Uttar Pradesh are being analysed for their caste equations as the state prepares for the 2027 legislative polls. Debai has 314,421 registered voters – 169,069 men, 145,347 women and five third‑gender voters – with Lodh‑Rajput voters forming the core, joined by Scheduled Caste, Muslim, Brahmin, Thakur, Vaishya, Jat and other backward classes. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) holds the seat; incumbent Chandrapal Singh defeated SP’s Harish Kumar in 2022 by 68,025 votes.

Bulandshahr’s electorate totals 352,153 (187,688 men, 164,454 women, 11 third‑gender voters). The constituency mixes urban and rural voters, with Muslims, Scheduled Castes, Jats, Yadavs, Gujjars, Brahmins and Thakurs influencing outcomes. BJP incumbent Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary won the 2022 contest over Nationalist Congress Party’s Haji Yunus by 25,830 votes. Both seats are unreserved and part of the Bulandshahr Lok Sabha constituency. Analysts view the 2027 election as a decisive moment for Uttar Pradesh’s long‑term political direction.
