Indian police conduct multiple operations resulting in various arrests

Police across several Indian regions have conducted multiple operations resulting in various arrests for theft, smuggling, and illegal gambling.

In Uttar Pradesh, police in Loni arrested a suspect following an encounter, recovering gold and silver jewelry valued at approximately 50 lakh rupees. In Kasganj, three meat smugglers were apprehended after a shootout, while a chain snatcher was injured during an encounter in Ghaziabad. In Noida, an individual was arrested for vehicle theft and mobile snatching, with a stolen scooter and phones recovered.

In other incidents, a former domestic worker in Balrampur was arrested for allegedly stealing nine lakh rupees from an employer's bank account via a stolen ATM card. Additionally, in Sagar, authorities dismantled a major online gaming and betting network, arresting a primary suspect in Bhopal and seizing over 2.69 crore rupees in cash along with gold jewelry.
