Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 Result Expected After August 15

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has completed scanning of OMR answer sheets for the 2026 UPTET, which was held from July 2‑4 across 60 districts at 955 centres. Evaluation of answer books is now underway, and officials say the final result is likely to be released after August 15, possibly in August.

Around 1.8 million candidates are awaiting the outcome. A provisional answer key was issued on July 9. To pass, general‑category candidates need 90 marks (60 %) out of 150, while reserved‑category candidates need 82 marks (55 %). Candidates will be able to view their scorecards on the official UPESSC website once the result is posted.
