Uttar Pradesh weather alert: Rain and thunderstorms expected in Lucknow and surrounding districts

Weather authorities have issued rain alerts for various parts of Uttar Pradesh, including the capital, Lucknow. Due to influences from the Bay of Bengal, several districts across eastern, western, and central Uttar Pradesh are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms.

In Lucknow, cloudy skies are expected throughout the day, with rain activity predicted to intensify around midday. Heavy drizzle may occur in the afternoon, with a high probability of moderate rain by 4:00 PM. Temperatures in the region are expected to reach a maximum of 32°C, though humidity levels may reach 86%.

Other districts under alert include Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, and several others in eastern and central Uttar Pradesh. Wind speeds may reach between 30 and 40 km/h in some areas. While no warnings for torrential downpours have been issued, residents are advised to remain cautious of changing weather conditions and potential thunderstorms.
