Uttarakhand CM Dhami distributes appointment letters to 101 candidates
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami distributed appointment letters to 101 newly selected personnel at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office in Dehradun. The group includes 88 Livestock Extension Officers for the Animal Husbandry Department and 13 Sugarcane Supervisors for the Sugarcane Development and Sugar Industry Department.
During the ceremony, Dhami emphasized that the state has implemented strict anti-copying laws to ensure recruitment is based on merit and talent rather than influence or connections. He noted that over the past five years, more than 34,000 young people in the state have secured government employment through these transparent processes.
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of these specific departments to the rural economy, particularly in hill regions where animal husbandry supports livelihoods and women's economic empowerment. He mentioned various government initiatives, such as the Mukhyamantri Rajya Pashudhan Mission, aimed at strengthening the dairy and livestock sectors.
