Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has focused on a range of administrative, industrial, and social welfare initiatives. Early efforts included strengthening BJP party organization for the 2027 Assembly elections and monitoring the progress of the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) Khurpia project.

In response to a tunnel accident in the Chamoli district, the state government ordered a magisterial inquiry and announced compensation of Rs 4 lakhs for the families of the deceased.

Subsequent developments show a shift toward research-driven policymaking and expanded social security. The administration has prioritized supporting MSMEs and homestay tourism, while also providing stipends to postgraduate students for development research. Additionally, the state government facilitated the transfer of Rs 147.05 crore in pensions to nearly one million beneficiaries, with directives to ensure transparency and alternative payment methods for those without Aadhaar.

Recent administrative actions have focused on merit-based recruitment and rural economic support. Chief Minister Dhami recently distributed appointment letters to 101 newly selected personnel, including 88 Livestock Extension Officers and 13 Sugarcane Supervisors. During the distribution, Dhami emphasized that strict anti-copying laws have been implemented to ensure recruitment is based on “merit and talent rather than influence or connections.” He noted that over 34,000 young people have secured government employment through these transparent processes over the last five years, highlighting the role of these departments in supporting the rural economy and women's economic empowerment.
