Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami launches development projects

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched several development initiatives focused on infrastructure and women's empowerment. In Champawat, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 50 projects valued at approximately Rs 62.97 crore. These projects aim to improve regional infrastructure, including roads, drinking water schemes, irrigation, flood protection, and religious tourism.

Additionally, the Chief Minister promoted the ‘Mukhyamantri Sashakt Bahna Utsav Yojana’, an initiative supporting women's self-help groups (SHGs). During an inspection of stalls set up by these groups, Dhami announced that starting next year, the ‘Sashakt Bahna Utsav’ will be expanded into a fortnight-long event preceding Raksha Bandhan. This extension is intended to provide women with more time and better opportunities to market their products and increase their income.
