Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami lauds PM Modi’s 12‑year welfare agenda

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended a public rally in Khatiima’s Baggha Chauvan, marking the completion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12‑year tenure. He praised the “historic and far‑reaching” decisions taken under Modi, citing flagship welfare schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala, Ayushman Bharat, Swachh Bharat, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, and the Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana, claiming they lifted 25 million people out of poverty.

Dhami also highlighted infrastructure projects in Uttarakhand, including the All‑Weather Road, the Rishikesh‑Karnaprayag rail line, the Manas‑Khand temple‑mala mission, and master‑plan developments at Kedarnath and Badrinath, which he said boost connectivity, tourism, and local employment. The event also noted the recent passing of Olympian shooter Jaspal Rana, described as a national pride.
