Uttarakhand leaders engage with students on development and technology

Uttarakhand officials have held separate interactions with students to discuss the role of youth in regional and national development.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed over 1,400 students from 17 schools during a ‘Yuva Vidyarthi Samvad’ programme in Kashipur. Dhami emphasized the importance of the younger generation in achieving the ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ vision set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that students have provided valuable suggestions through the ‘Mere Sapno Ka Uttarakhand’ initiative and encouraged them to become job creators.

In a separate engagement, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan met with meritorious students from the Devprayag Assembly constituency who were participating in a Bharat Darshan tour led by MLA Vinod Kandari. Bardhan advised the students to remain technically competent to face national competition and to use technology wisely. He also cautioned the youth against substance abuse and the risks of peer pressure, urging them to seek guidance from parents and teachers.
