Uzbekistan FM Saadov Odilov visits India for talks, business forum
Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Saadov Bakhtiyar Odilov will be on an official four‑day visit to India from 2 August to 5 August. He is scheduled to land at Indira Gandhi International Airport on the night of 2 August, meet President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on the morning of 3 August, and then attend a business forum in Delhi later that day. The same afternoon he will hold a bilateral meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar at Hyderabad House.
The itinerary also includes additional engagements in Delhi on 4 August before his departure from New Delhi on 5 August. The visit follows a phone conversation between the two foreign ministers on 20 July and builds on the 17th round of foreign office consultations held in May, which covered trade, investment, tourism, technology, innovation, energy, education and other areas of cooperation, underscoring a strategic partnership between the two countries.
