Uzbekistan seeks investment through Turkic Investment Fund
Uzbekistan is working to expand its access to investment financing via the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), according to the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade. The announcement followed the fund’s third Board of Governors meeting held in Tashkent on October 24.
During the meeting, representatives from Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Türkiye discussed priorities for future operations. Key focus areas include infrastructure, energy, industrial cooperation, entrepreneurship, and transport and logistics. The participants also addressed efforts to attract additional resources and strengthen cooperation with international financial institutions.
The Turkic Investment Fund was established by member countries of the Organization of Turkic States to promote economic cooperation and support investment projects across participating nations. Azerbaijan has assumed the chairmanship of the Board of Governors until the next annual meeting.
