Uzdol marks 33rd anniversary of crimes against Croatian civilians

A memorial mass was held in Uzdol to mark the 33rd anniversary of the crimes committed against Croatian civilians and soldiers on September 14, 1993. The event was attended by families of the victims, relatives, and various officials.

The massacre resulted in the deaths of 29 civilians and 12 HVO members. To date, only the former commander of the Prozor Battalion, Enver Buza, has been convicted, receiving an eight-year prison sentence. The prosecution of 36 other members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina suspected of direct involvement was suspended by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina ten years ago.
