Vadodara police seize liquor worth 84 lakh rupees

The Gujarat Police State Monitoring Cell (SMC) conducted a raid in Vadodara, seizing Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and beer valued at approximately 84.01 lakh rupees. The operation targeted alleged ‘cutting’ activities, involving the adulteration or repacking of alcohol.

During the raid at the parking area of Nilkanth Villa Flats on New Karelibaug Road, authorities recovered 16,394 bottles of alcohol contained in roughly 470 boxes. Including seized vehicles, the total value of the confiscated goods exceeds 1 crore rupees.

A case has been registered at the Bapod police station under the Prohibition Act. Seven individuals have been named as wanted suspects, including Nilesh alias Neelu Nathani and the owners of the seized vehicles. Police are currently investigating the suppliers and those involved in the distribution of the shipment.
