Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü opens 2026-2027 university scholarship applications

The General Directorate of Foundations (VGM) has announced the application schedule for higher education scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year. Associate and undergraduate students can submit their applications electronically via the official VGM website starting Thursday, October 22, at 10:00, until October 31 at 23:59.

Selected university students will receive a monthly scholarship of 4,000 TL. This follows the conclusion of applications for primary, middle, and high school students, who are eligible for monthly educational assistance of 1,750 TL.

The VGM warned students to be vigilant against fraudulent websites and social media accounts attempting to collect personal information under the guise of scholarship applications. The Directorate clarified that it does not contact applicants via WhatsApp, nor does it request money or specific account openings; all official processes and results are managed exclusively through the official website.
