Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü prepares 2026-2027 student scholarships

The General Directorate of Foundations (Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü), operating under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, is preparing to provide non-refundable educational support to thousands of students in primary, secondary, high school, and university levels for the 2026-2027 period.

Official application dates for the new term have not yet been announced. Based on previous years, secondary education applications typically occur between October 1 and October 15, with results announced on October 31. Higher education applications often take place between October 21 and October 31, with results released around November 18.

Applications must be completed entirely online via the official website (www.vgm.gov.tr). Physical applications or petitions will not be accepted. It is recommended that applicants use desktop or laptop computers with browsers such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to avoid potential technical issues associated with mobile operating systems.
