Val di Sole to host 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships

The 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships are scheduled to take place from August 25 to 30 in Val di Sole, Italy. The event, held at the Daolasa di Commezzadura circuit, will feature 17 world titles across five disciplines: Cross-country Olympic (XCO), Short Track (XCC), Team Relay, Downhill (DHI), and e-MTB.

Official activities begin on August 25 with training sessions and an opening ceremony. The competition schedule includes e-MTB and Team Relay on August 26, followed by junior cross-country and Short Track on August 27. Downhill races will be held on the Black Snake track, a demanding course on the international circuit.

Argentina has confirmed its delegation for the championships. The national team includes Agustín Tarantelli, competing in the junior cross-country category, and Gonzalo Gajdosech, representing the country in the elite downhill discipline. Other Argentine athletes participating include Agustín Durán, Juan Ignacio Goudailliez, and Catalina Calderón.
