Valdivia Municipality modernizes veterinary services

The Municipality of Valdivia has announced updates to its municipal veterinary services to better manage high demand. Key improvements include the implementation of a centralized call center to replace the current fixed-line telephone system. This new platform aims to reduce wait times, prevent line saturation, and provide better traceability for medical appointment requests.

To support these administrative changes, the municipality is increasing its clinical staff by adding two veterinarians and two veterinary technicians. These new professionals will focus specifically on surgical procedures, including sterilizations and castrations, as well as post-operative care.
