Valencia aerospace firms to test drones with Spanish Army

Aerospace companies and technological centers in Valencia have launched a validation program for drones and advanced systems in direct collaboration with the Spanish Army. The initiative, driven by Espai Aero CV, the Universitat Politècnica de València, and the Lusitania Cavalry Regiment, aims to test technologies during real military maneuvers to ensure they meet the practical needs of ground troops.

Participating companies, including Dendrite Technologies, AIDIMME, Orbotix, Voltrac, and Valyra Aerospace, will work alongside military squadrons to test solutions in various operational scenarios. This feedback loop allows developers to refine and adapt their products based on detailed military requirements. The program establishes a continuous collaborative environment between academia, industry, and the military.
