Valencia agricultural council advances recovery of flood‑damaged farms

The Valencia Agricultural Council (Consell Agrari de València) has processed more than 200 farmer applications to restore parcels hit by the heavy rains on 29‑30 October 2024. It has intensified coordination with the public agency Tragsa, overseeing adaptation and restoration works and providing technical support such as the Guardería Rural and municipal staff.

Council Agriculture Commissioner José Gosálbez said the municipal authority has been alongside farmers from the start, “not only helping with the processing of over 200 applications, but also maintaining permanent follow‑up so no farm is left behind.” The council expects to continue the assistance and monitoring through 2025‑2026 until all parcels regain full productive capacity.
