Valencia hosts charity races for cancer and solidarity causes
Valencia is hosting two distinct charity sporting events to support various health and social causes.
The Valencia Against Cancer race, part of the RunCancer circuit, has been rescheduled to Sunday, November 22, following a postponement due to heavy rains on October 18. Organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Valencia, the event includes a competitive race, popular skating, Nordic walking, and a popular walk. All proceeds from the five-euro registration fees will fund cancer research projects in Valencia. Registration remains open until November 18.
Additionally, the Valencia City Council is organizing the 2026 Solidarity Race on November 8. This event aims to raise funds for three specific causes: multiple sclerosis, ADHD, and lung cancer. Beneficiaries include organizations such as the ADHD + 16 Valencia Association, which supports individuals and families affected by the disorder. The initiative is supported by several institutions, including the Generalitat Valenciana and IIS La Fe.
