Valencia roadway bridge over Sellent to close for two months

The Diputación de Valencia will commence the final phase of works to widen the bridge over the Sellent River on the CV-560 road in the municipality of Càrcer. Traffic on the bridge will be fully closed from Monday, 3 August, until Friday, 25 September, with an alternate route using the CV‑555 and CV‑590 roads.

The project, overseen by provincial roads deputy Reme Mazzolari, has a budget of roughly €965,906. It will expand the bridge deck from about 4.5 m to 6 m, creating two lanes—one in each direction—and add side‑walks wider than 1.5 m on both sides. Additional works include structural repairs, drainage improvements, waterproofing, resurfacing of the pavement and the installation of new protective systems for vehicles and pedestrians.
