Valencia to host Spain Sail Grand Prix in September

Valencia is set to host the Spain Sail Grand Prix on 5 and 6 September, marking a significant addition to the city's international sailing calendar. The event features SailGP's high-speed F50 foiling catamarans, which are capable of exceeding 100 km/h.

The Spanish team, Los Gallos, enters the competition in strong form, currently holding second place in the general standings following recent successes in Halifax and Portsmouth. The event is supported by global partner Emirates, which serves as the exclusive airline for the competition.

Beyond the racing, Marina Port Valencia is preparing for an active autumn season. The marina will participate in major industry gatherings, including the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8 to 13 September and the Monaco Yacht Show from 23 to 27 September, to showcase its ongoing transformation and international presence.
