Valencian breakfast culture showcased to European chefs
More than one hundred chefs and gastronomy professionals from Euro-Toques participated in a showcase of the ‘esmorzar valencià’ (Valencian breakfast) culture at the Centre Cultural La Beneficència in Valencia. Organized by the Diputació de València, the event was part of the Euro-Toques Autonomous Assembly, which coincides with the association’s 40th anniversary.
Eighteen municipalities from the province of Valencia participated, setting up stalls to present local products, specialties, and traditional preparations. Notable attendees included Euro-Toques president Maca de Castro and renowned chef Ricard Camarena.
The municipality of Torrent represented its local tradition through Chocolates Andreu, showcasing chocolate products and new variations integrated with other Valencian flavors. The event allowed professionals to engage directly with local producers to learn about the origins and specificities of regional ingredients.
