Valencian breakfast showcase for European chefs

Overview

The Diputació de València organized a showcase of the ‘esmorzar valencià’ (Valencian breakfast) at the Centre Cultural La Beneficència to highlight regional gastronomic identity. The event was part of the Euro-Toques Autonomous Assembly, which coincided with the association’s 40th anniversary.

Eighteen municipalities participated by presenting local specialties and traditional preparations to over one hundred Spanish and European chefs and culinary professionals. The initiative allowed attendees, including Euro-Toques president Maca de Castro and chef Ricard Camarena, to engage directly with local producers to learn about the origins and cultural significance of regional ingredients and products.
