Valencian training programs expand to support logistics and industrial sectors

Vocational training initiatives are being expanded in the Valencian Community to align worker skills with regional industrial demands.

In Almansa, the Proyecto Éfeso Almansa Impulsa is launching a 250-hour warehouse and logistics course starting November 3, 2026. The program, designed for unemployed individuals—including long-term unemployed, people with disabilities, and those in vulnerable socioeconomic situations—includes 40 hours of professional internships. Eligible participants may receive a daily stipend of 13.45 euros.

Meanwhile, in Elche, the Valencian Employment and Training Service (Labora) is strengthening its educational offerings to support the local industrial sector, particularly the footwear industry. Vice President Susana Camarero highlighted that Labora has allocated over 26 million euros to training in Elche between 2023 and 2026. These funds support digital training, professional qualification programs, and sector-specific initiatives aimed at connecting job seekers with qualified roles required by local companies.
