Valentino Beauty launches Vendetta campaign with Dakota Johnson

Valentino Beauty has launched its new Vendetta fragrance campaign, featuring actors Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård. Directed by Romain Gavras and photographed by Inez & Vinoodh, the campaign was shot on 35mm film and utilizes the Pet Shop Boys’ song ‘It’s a Sin’ to underscore themes of passion and freedom.

The campaign introduces a prestige fragrance duo. Vendetta Donna, created by Dominique Ropion and Andrew Everett, is a floral gourmand woody scent featuring tuberose, red orange nectar, and sandalwood. Vendetta Uomo, composed by Marie Salamagne, is a woody spicy gourmand containing Peruvian ginger, Italian citrus, cinnamon, and patchouli.

The visual narrative follows the two protagonists through sunlit landscapes and intimate interiors, emphasizing emotional intensity and connection through movement and gesture rather than dialogue.
