Valtra T Series sets speed and precision records in Austria and Germany

Valtra has conducted two extreme performance tests using its new sixth-generation T Series tractor to demonstrate speed and agricultural precision. In collaboration with Nokian Tyres, the tractor achieved a verified speed of 87 km/h at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, setting a lap time of 3:36.4 and becoming the fastest tractor to complete the circuit.

The second test took place on a farm in western Germany, focusing on high-speed corn planting. Equipped with a 12-row Väderstad Tempo planter, the tractor reached a measured planting speed of 40.125 km/h. Despite the high velocity, the setup maintained a planting accuracy exceeding 95% using the PTx guidance system.

The T Series utilized an AGCO Power six-cylinder 7.5L Core75 engine and was outfitted with Nokian Soil King tyres and additional ballast weights to manage the field conditions.
